Vuel Support
Someone's got you — and that includes when something isn't working. This page covers the most common questions and how to reach a real person.
How to get help
Email us at support@vuel.ai and tell us what happened. The more detail the better: what you were trying to do, what you expected, and what you saw instead. A screenshot helps a lot.
Response time: we typically reply within 24–48 hours.
Common topics
I can't sign in / I need an invite
Vuel is currently invite-only.
- You need an invite code to sign up. Vuel asks for a valid one-time invite code before it sends your signup verification. If you don't have one, you can join the waitlist at vuel.ai and tap Notify me.
- Already a member? You have a small allotment of invite codes to share with friends — look for the invite option in the app.
- Signing in to an existing account: use your email or phone number plus your password (at least 8 characters). If your account isn't verified yet, sign-in is blocked until verification is complete.
- Signup needs three things: your invite code, a one-time code sent by text, and an email verification code.
If you're stuck on any of those steps, email support and we'll help you through it.
Granting permissions
Vuel does more for you when you let it reach the right things:
- Location is used (when in use) to fold a local weather forecast into your morning briefing.
- Notifications let the agent tell you when background work is done (see below).
- Calendar access lets the agent add the events it creates to your iPhone's Calendar app. (Vuel keeps your reminders and events in its own calendar, and on a connected Google Calendar it can view and add events.)
- Connected mailbox (Gmail) lets the agent read and sort your email and send replies — in the app, those replies stay as drafts until you tap Send.
If you said no earlier and want to change your mind, update Vuel's permissions in your iOS Settings, then reopen the app.
Notifications aren't arriving
The agent uses notifications to report back when it finishes background work. If they're not showing up:
- Open iOS Settings, find Vuel, and make sure notifications are turned on.
- Confirm the app has been opened at least once since you installed or updated it.
- Reopen Vuel so it can re-register your device for push.
If notifications still don't arrive after that, email support with your device model and iOS version.
Voice calls
Vuel's agent can place real phone calls on your behalf — working through phone menus and hold queues, then reporting back a summary of what happened. A few things to know:
- For most calls (like a pharmacy refill), the agent shows a one-time confirmation button before it dials. Tapping it is how you approve the call.
- Live calls show their progress right in the chat, and the agent may ask you mid-call to relay a one-time code or to give a quick yes/no.
- There's a daily cap on outbound calls (20 per day by default).
- You can ask the agent to recall past calls — who it called, when, and the outcome.
If a call didn't go as expected, the call card in chat has the summary; share that with support if you'd like us to look into it.
Connecting Gmail
You can connect a Gmail mailbox so the agent can triage your inbox and draft replies:
- Connecting uses Google's standard sign-in (OAuth) — you grant access through Google.
- Once connected, the agent reads and sorts your mail, flags what's important or needs a reply, and writes draft replies.
- You stay in control of sending. In the app, a reply through your connected mailbox waits as an unsent draft in the Replies tab and goes out when you tap Send.
Note: in the current app, Gmail is the mailbox you can connect.
If connecting fails, try again from the start of the Google sign-in flow. Still stuck? Email support.
Deleting data or your account
You have several ways to remove things today:
- Delete an agent — agents can be soft-deleted (you'll always keep at least one).
- Delete a file — remove individual files from the agent's workspace.
- Delete a note — note hard-delete removes both the transcript and the audio.
- Forget a fact — ask the agent to forget something it remembered about you. (It will decline to wipe verified account details like your phone, email, or date of birth.)
Full account deletion: email support to request it and we'll delete all of your private data. Data generated through chat is retained in a headless, de-identified form for analytics and model training. There's no self-serve full-deletion flow today, so email support and we'll handle it for you.
Status & known issues
Check live system status anytime at status.vuel.ai.
A heads-up on what to expect today:
- Some "Apps" tiles are previews. Several app tiles are shown faded (VoiceOver announces them as preview) — they're a look ahead and don't do anything yet. The working apps are Calendar, Files, Podcasts, Receipts, Todos, and Notes.
- Media takes a moment. Creating images, music, or short videos runs in the background — images are usually about 10–30 seconds (it can vary), while music and short videos can take a minute or two. The agent reports back when it's ready.
If something looks broken, it's worth a quick email — see below.
Report a bug or request a feature
We want to hear it.
- Found a bug? Email support@vuel.ai with what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened. A screenshot and your iOS version help us move faster.
- Want a feature? Same address — tell us what you wish Vuel could do. Real requests from real days shape what we build next.
Thanks for being an early part of Vuel. Someone's got you.
