Consumer Health Data Privacy Notice
Effective date: July 14, 2026
This notice supplements the Vuel Privacy Policy. It explains Vuel LLC's practices for consumer health data covered by Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's consumer-health privacy law, and similar laws that may apply.
Scope and meaning
This notice applies to consumer health data of Washington and Nevada residents and to consumer health data collected in those states when the applicable consumer-health privacy law covers the processing.
Consumer health data means personal information that is linked or reasonably linkable to a person and identifies or can be used to infer that person's past, present, or future physical or mental health status. It can include information about health conditions, symptoms, diagnoses, testing, treatment, prescriptions, medications, care, providers, insurance, or attempts to obtain health services.
Vuel is a personal AI service, not a health-care provider, insurer, pharmacy, or emergency service. Vuel does not provide medical advice. Do not use Vuel for an emergency; contact emergency services or a qualified professional.
Consumer health data we may collect
The categories depend on the feature you use and the task you ask Vuel to perform. They may include:
- Health-linked identifiers and contact details, such as your name, date of birth, phone number, email address, and account identifiers when connected to a health-related task or record.
- Prescription and pharmacy information, such as a pharmacy, medication or prescription, dosage, quantity, refill request, days' supply, and refill or pickup status.
- Provider and appointment information, such as a doctor, clinic or other provider, appointment reason, requested date or specialty, referral details, and the result of a scheduling request.
- Insurance information, such as an optional insurer name, member identifier, or other coverage information you provide for a requested task.
- Communications and connected content, including health-related information in chats, connected inbox messages, calendar events, notes, files, images, attachments, and support requests.
- Call and task records, such as the number called, call instructions, audio when recording is enabled, transcript, summary, status, structured result, recording URL, and information supplied by the pharmacy, provider, or other recipient.
- Health-related inferences and derived records, such as summaries, classifications, remembered context, semantic memory, or other observations derived from the information above.
Sources of consumer health data
We may collect consumer health data:
- Directly from you when you chat with Vuel, provide task details, upload content, contact support, or request a call or other action.
- From services and content you choose to connect, such as a Gmail inbox or Google Calendar.
- From pharmacies, medical offices, providers, insurers, family members, other people, and businesses involved in a task you request.
- From service providers that process or return information for a requested task.
- By deriving summaries, classifications, context, or other inferences from the information above.
Why we collect and use consumer health data
We collect and use the categories above as reasonably necessary to:
- Perform the health-related task you request, such as contacting a pharmacy about a prescription or calling a medical office to request an appointment.
- Provide relevant information to the recipient, complete the communication, and report the result to you.
- Maintain the chat, call history, notes, files, and remembered context you use with Vuel.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, support, and improve the safety and reliability of the Service.
- Prevent fraud and misuse, resolve disputes, enforce our terms, comply with law, and protect rights and safety.
We collect or share consumer health data when necessary to provide a product or service you specifically request, with consent where required, or as otherwise permitted by law. We do not sell consumer health data, share it for third-party targeted advertising, use it to build advertising profiles, or use health-care-facility geofencing to identify or target people.
How consumer health data is processed
Vuel stores health-related content and records in the account and agent systems used to provide the Service. For a requested task, Vuel may select relevant account context, convert content into prompts or structured task instructions, send that information to AI or voice providers, transmit task details to a connected service or recipient, and receive and store the resulting response, call status, transcript, summary, or structured result. Vuel may also classify or summarize connected messages, create semantic-memory chunks or vector embeddings for recall, and place relevant context into later conversations or tasks.
Collection across unrelated sites. Vuel does not use advertising trackers to collect consumer health data over time and across unrelated websites or online services. A service provider or connected service processes information only for the service it provides or under its own terms; Vuel does not authorize it to use Vuel consumer health data for cross-site targeted advertising.
Consumer health data we share
Depending on the task, we may share health-linked identifiers, prescription or appointment details, insurance information you provide, communications, call instructions and records, connected content, and related summaries or derived context with these categories of recipients:
- Recipients you direct Vuel to contact, such as pharmacies, doctors, clinics, other medical offices, insurers, caregivers, or other people and businesses involved in your request.
- AI and voice providers, including OpenRouter and the underlying AI providers selected for a task, and Vapi and its configured call providers, which process the content needed to understand and perform the request.
- Infrastructure providers, including Supabase and Fly.io, which host or store information used by the Service.
- Connected services, such as Google, when a connected inbox, calendar, or other integration is involved in the task.
- Professional advisers, authorities, and transaction parties, when reasonably necessary to obtain legal or professional advice, comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, resolve disputes, or complete a financing, merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale.
- Others with your consent or at your direction.
Affiliates: Vuel does not currently disclose consumer health data to a corporate affiliate.
AI processing and model training
Vuel does not use your content to train its own general-purpose AI models. Downstream AI and voice providers have different retention and training policies. Depending on the provider, endpoint, and account or request settings, a provider may retain content for abuse monitoring or other permitted purposes and may use content to improve models. Unless we expressly state otherwise for a feature, Vuel does not promise zero data retention by every downstream provider.
Retention and deletion
We retain consumer health data only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, subject to the retention behavior in the Vuel Privacy Policy. Health-related information in chats, notes, files, remembered context, and account records may remain while your account is active unless you delete the item or your account. Connected-inbox copies are retained for 30 days. AI voice-call records are retained for 30 days by default, although the operational setting is configurable. A provider or recipient may retain its copy under its own policies and legal obligations.
When account deletion completes, Vuel deletes the account and private content as described in the Vuel Privacy Policy. Limited audit, subscription, anti-fraud, dispute, and legally required records may remain. When applicable law requires deletion from processors or other third parties, we will notify the relevant recipients of a verified deletion request.
Your consumer health data rights
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to:
- Confirm and access whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data; access the data; and receive a list of third parties and affiliates with which it was shared.
- Review and request changes to consumer health data we maintain about you.
- Withdraw consent where our processing or sharing relies on your consent.
- Delete consumer health data we hold, subject to applicable exceptions, and request deletion by processors or other third parties where required.
- Appeal our refusal to act on a request.
You will not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising an applicable right.

Changes to this notice
We may update this notice from time to time. We will update the effective date above and, when required by law, provide additional notice and obtain consent before collecting, using, or sharing new categories of consumer health data or using existing categories for materially different purposes.
